According to the Industry and Information Technology Department of Hebei Province, the electronic information industry in Hebei achieved a main business revenue of 350.58 billion Chinese yuan in 2023, an increase of 19.3% compared to the previous year (the following "growth" are all year-on-year growth), continuing to maintain a high-speed growth trend. Among them, the manufacturing industry achieved a main business revenue of 266.02 billion Chinese yuan, an increase of 20.7%. The software industry achieved a main business revenue of 84.56 billion Chinese yuan, an increase of 15.1%.

By the sectors perspective, industries like photovoltaics, electronics, and semiconductors are growing rapidly.

The photovoltaic industry is steadily growing. In 2023, the photovoltaic industry in Hebei achieved a main business revenue of 61.77 billion Chinese yuan, an increase of 20.8%. Export earnings amounted to 1.6 billion US dollars, an increase of 5.3%. Jingao (Xingtai) Solar Energy Co., Ltd. upgraded and renovated its battery modules, resulting in an increase in product output and a 78.3% increase in its main business revenue. Yingli Energy Development Co., Ltd. (Yingli Solar) saw an increase in order volume and a 436.7% increase in main business revenue.

The industry electronics are growing rapidly. In 2023, the industry electronics in Hebei province achieved a main business revenue of 142.91 billion Chinese yuan, an increase of 34.3%. SHANGTAITECH’s order volume increased, and its main business revenue increased by 21.9%. KE Electric Co., Ltd.’s main business revenue increased by 80.1%.

The semiconductor related industry is growing rapidly. In 2023, the semiconductor related industry in Hebei achieved a main business revenue of 33.92 billion Chinese yuan, an increase of 52.3%. Hebei Guangxing Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd.’s main business revenue increased by 31.8%.

In terms of software industry, the information technology service industry in Hebei achieved a main business revenue of 54.2 billion Chinese yuan in 2023, an increase of 10.3%. The embedded system software industry achieved a main business revenue of 2.82 billion Chinese yuan, an increase of 8.4%, maintaining stable growth.

Fixed assets investment grew faster. By 2023, the whole province’s electronic information industry will have completed a cumulative fixed assets investment of 22.54 billion Chinese yuan, an increase of 53.5%. Among them, fixed assets investment in manufacturing industry totaled 19.77 billion Chinese yuan, up 94.3%. Xingtai, Shijiazhuang, and Langfang rank among the top three in Hebei.
